Ruby chocolate is the fourth type of chocolate, after milk, dark and white, and is the world's only new cocoa bean variety to be discovered in 80 years.
KitKat Ruby will be available to chocolate lovers across Australia in Woolworths for $2 after a sell-out success in Melbourne in 2018.
The first launch in 2018 was so successful that blocks sold for up to $1,000 on eBay once the blocks had sold out.

KitKat Ruby will finally be available to chocolate lovers across Australia in Woolworths for $2 after a sell-out success in Melbourne in 2018
The chocolate features a distinctive, all-natural pink hue, an intense berry flavour and a luscious smooth texture, combined with iconic crisp KitKat wafer fingers.
Made using rare ruby cocoa beans – found only in a few locations including Côte d'Ivoir, Ecuador and Brazil – the unique colour and flavour are naturally occurring.
'Ruby chocolate was an instant hit at KitKat Chocolatory last year, with KitKat Ruby Sublime selling out in just 10 days,' Head Chocolatier Connie Yuen said.
'KitKat has been inundated with requests from consumers across the country since Ruby chocolate was introduced.'
