Special honor to Mandar and No More Foundations
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, For promoting entrepreneurs, Rabindranath Tagore University has been providing start up and stand-up award for the past four years. This year, Start-up and Stand-up awards are jointly organized by the University and the Atal Incubation Center R.N.T.U. which is operated by Atal Innovation Mission of Policy Commission.
The topic of this year was on social entrepreneurship. More than 70 nominations were received from companies working in the field of agriculture, community development, environment, skill development, health, education livelihood, renewable energy technology, corporate social responsibility, microfinance, NGOs etc. Prizes were given to 9 entrepreneurs for doing outstanding work in the field of social entrepreneurship at the dignified honor ceremony held at the university.
These prizes were presented in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director AISECT, Vice Chancellor Professor AK Gwal, Registrar Dr. Vijay Singh and Atal Incubation Center’s founder Shri Nitin.
Four prizes were given in stand-up category.
Stand-up awards were given 4 categories including Ms. Sweety Malviya, Amla, District Betul’s Sushma Mahila Jan Kalyan and Child Development Education Committee, for outstanding work in the field of women empowerment, Kakoli Roy and Sumit Roy’s Digdarshika Institute of Rehabilitation and Research, who has been working for the guidance of especially abled children from the past 27 years.
To Ms. Satvana Aras, who move on a wheelchair, but because of her enthusiasm, she is she is providing education and skills to women and children through her Uday Education and Social Welfare Committee and Narendra Sharma from Social welfare Bhumika Committee Jabalpur, whose 200 self-service groups are working.
Four awards were also given in Start-Up category
These include Abhishek Dubey, whose Muskan Dreams Start-up has digitized more than 100 government schools in Madhya Pradesh. He has been included in the Forbes 30 list of the prestigious Forbes Magazine this year.
Dr CP Dubey of Bhilai (Chhattisgarh) whose Sakhi Apparel Private Limited is working for the empowerment of women, Sarita Anand of Angel’s SDRA who is working for children in Bhopal and ita surrounding areas, Advocate Bhavna’s start-up named Sufal which is working for the promotion of culture and art.
Special honor was given to “Mandar and No More foundation” of Vishwas and Pratibha Ghuse. On this occasion, Rajiv Agrawal, Vice President of Association of Mandideep Industries, Ranjan Kumar, CRISP and the members of PhD Chamber of Commerce were present.
