AMD has decided to commemorate its huge milestone with the release of a few special edition products.
Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition
While the Anniversary Edition of the Ryzen 7 2700X CPU is no different from the standard version, AMD aficionados will appreciate the exclusive laser-engraved signature of CEO, Dr Lisa Su on the processor. Since the signature is engraved above the processor’s integrated heat spreader, it is highly advisable to use a transparent CPU cooler and transparent thermal paste.
AMD Radeon VII Gold Edition
AMD revealed the Radeon VII earlier in January at CES 2019. The Radeon VII was engineered to tackle Nvidia’s RTX big boys and debuted as the company’s most expensive graphics card. The card is also the first-ever to be built on the 7nm process node. The Anniversary Edition GPU will feature a red shroud as opposed to the standard silver shroud we’re accustomed to seeing on the Radeon VII. This card features the same specifications as a standard Radeon VII and retails for $699.
Radeon RX 590 AMD 50th Anniversary Edition
While the new Gold Edition Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 590 card is similar to the standard Nitro+ RX 590 GPU, the Anniversary Edition graphics card comes with a gold-coloured shroud with a more premium feel. The RX 590 was the first GPU in AMD history to feature a 12nm process node and will hold a special place in the chipmaker’s history.
Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 WiFi-50
The only thing keeping you from building an ultimate AMD Gold Edition CPU is the motherboard. And, the Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 WiFi-50 motherboard fills that role pretty well. The ATX motherboard will come equipped with game-centric features and flashy LEDs with the latest technology to complete the entire look.
Consumers will also be given a free digital copy of World War Z and The Division 2 Gold Edition with a one-year season pass with the purchase of AMD Radeon Graphics Cards and 2nd Gen Ryzen CPUs.
