JEE (Main): 3 from Jaipur among top 100

Three JEE (mains) toppers from Jaipur
JAIPUR: Nishant Abhangi of Kota has added to his academic achievements by securing 6th rank in JEE (Main) result, announced late on Monday. Abhangi missed the first position by a few decimal points.
He has been preparing for the exam in Kota since last few years and has stood first in at least six national-level competitive exams. His biggest achievement was being the recipient of the National Child Award 2017 given by President Ram Nath Kovind. He stood first in Indian National Junior Science Olympiad, International Mathematical Olympiad, National Level Science Talent Search Examination and National Science Olympiad, to name a few. Abhangi prepared from Allen Career Institute in Kota.
He is among the league of top 24 students who scored 100 in National Testing Agency score card. Three students from Rajasthan — Sambit Bahera (11th), Shubankar Gambhir (12th), Samiksha Das (20) — also made it to the top 24 list. Shubham Srivastava of Delhi secured first position in the country.

The pink city also made its presence felt in the national-level exam. Three students from the city — Aditya Sharma (47), Gaurav Kishan (64) and Akshat Sharma (84) — were among the top 100 ranks.
Total number of students who appeared in the exam was 11.47 lakh. Till the last report came, the coaching majors were compiling the result.
