AP State Warehousing Corporation chairman L.V.S.R.K. Prasad along with former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal met members of the Telugu diaspora based in California, U.S. on Saturday.

In a ‘greet and meet’ with NRIs, Mr. Prasad interacted with the Telugus residing in the city, according to a release. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Prasad asserted that the Telugu Desam Party would win at least 130 seats in the elections and expressed confidence that the TDP would again form the government.

Mr. Prasad explained the schemes implemented in the State in the past five years and thanked the Telugu diaspora for extending their support to the TDP government.

Mr. Rajagopal said that he would release the exit poll results of his survey on AP elections on May 19. He said people would always vote for those who offered development and welfare schemes and added that he would also explain the reason behind the failure of his exit poll survey of Telangana’s recent general elections.

North America representative to the State government K. Jayaram said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would register a thumping victory and once again form the government in AP.
