Telangana: Mallu’s ‘Save Democracy’ rally begins

HYDERABAD: Congress party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched ‘Prajaswamya Parirakshana Yatra’ (Save Democracy Rally) on Sunday under which he is touring the constituencies of defected Congress MLAs.
“KCR says his federal front will bring change in politics, but in Telangana, he is murdering democracy by trying to wipe out the opposition,” he said.
“This yatra is to inform people on how KCR is purchasing Congress MLAs and I appeal to voters to teach TRS a befitting lesson in the MPTC and ZPTC polls,” he said.
AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana RC Khuntia told that Ponnam Prabhakar, J Kusum Kumar, A Revanth Reddy and Azharuddin have been tasked with ensuring Congress’ victory in the ZPTC and MPTC polls.
