Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni approached Supreme Court to get possession of a flat after the auditors sought an explanation from him on financial transaction with Amrapali group. The auditors found that Dhoni is also among buyers who got the flat on throwaway price. Dhoni argued that it should be seen in the context of Amrapali failing to clear his dues. Dhoni was a brand ambassador for the group. The auditors have told the court that crores of unaccounted money was invested in various housing projects of the group.
