1.71 Lakh Theft Cases Reported By Railway Passengers In Last 10 Years
Giving the break up, the ministry said a total of 33,044 such cases were registered in 2017 as against 22,106 in 2016 and 19,215 in 2015.
From 2009 to 2018, the cases of thefts have seen a five-fold increase. (Representational)
