Maharashtra: Jet Airways employee commits suicide in Nalasopara

A 43-year-old Jet Airways employee, who was suffering from cancer, committed suicide by jumping off his building in Maharashtra’s Nalasopara. Speaking on the incident, Avinash Rai, one of the neighbours, told ANI that Shailesh Singh was suffering from cancer and due to the deteriorating finances of the now grounded airline; Singh was struggling with the finances at his own house. He was however a very social person and used to participate in every festival, Rai added. Jet Airways announced earlier this month that it is temporarily suspending its flight operations.
