Kolkata: Two duped of thousands in online fraud

KOLKATA: Two persons — Phullotpal Chaudhuri of Tangra and Purnita Palit of Bansdroni — have alleged they were duped of thousands by online fraudsters who conned them into sharing OTPs.
While Chaudhuri was called up by the accused posing as a pay-wallet agent, someone impersonating an online-portal agent lured Palit into sharing details on the promise of discounts and cashbacks.
