Brazen thieves have made off with a 'one-of-a-kind' McLaren 12C Spyder after breaking into a home.
The theft unfolded on Alexandra Avenue, in Toorak, in Melbourne at about 1.30am on Wednesday.
Investigators believe two or three male offenders broke into the owner's garage and - despite not having any doors - were able to enter the car and get it started.

Greensborough Highway Patrol officers later located the distinctive high-end vehicle, which found just after 1pm, in McFarlane Lane in Northcote.
Police have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or submit a confidential report to crimestoppersvic.com.au.
