PUNE: Two unidentified men beat up a 28-year-old man and robbed him of cash and
cellphone, collectively worth Rs6,000, in the early hours of Wednesday.
The robbery took place near Bhumkar Chowk when the complainant was walking towards his home in Tathawade.

Ashoknagar has lodged a complaint with the Hinjewadi police. Sub-inspector AB Hingole of the Hinjewadi police told TOI that Khot is working with an automobile dealer and has been staying at a facility provided by the dealer.
Khot, who had gone to his native village, returned to Pune just past midnight. He was walking home along the service road at around 1.30am. “Two men on a motorcycle went ahead of him and stopped along the road,” Hingole said.
He said that when Khot got close, the duo beat him up and snatched Khot’s cell phone. “They also robbed Rs700 from his wallet and rode away from the spot,” Hingole said
Khot provided their description to the police. One of them was wearing blue jeans and white shirt and another man was wearing blue jeans and black shirt.
