Members of Andhra Pradesh Prohibition, Excise Executive Officers’ Association on Friday met the Department Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Meena and expressed gratitude for ‘removing hurdles’ in the way of their long-pending promotions.
After a gap of seven years, 44 Excise Circle Inspectors are being elevated to the post of Additional Excise Superintendents.
A statement issued by the department said the process was on the officials would receive their promotion orders after the model code of conduct is lifted.
Association president Narasimhulu, secretary Venkata Raman and others thanked Mr. Meena for his concern.
