The Department of School Education has invited applications from students for admission to Plus One in government schools in Puducherry. According to a release, interested students should submit their application forms attached with photocopies of transfer certificate, permanent integrated certificate (PIC).
There is no bar on students seeking admission for Plus One in government schools and they can submit individual applications for each school. The filled in applications should be submitted on or before May 14. The applications will be scrutinised on May 21 and the rank list of candidates will be released on May 22. The first phase of counselling for admission in government schools in Puducherry would be held from May 22 to 24. For students of aided schools, it will be held on May 28 while the counselling for students of private schools will be on May 30. Classes begin on June 3.
