Williams, of course, made a surprise cameo in the 2016 music video for the track "Sorry" from Beyoncé’s Lemonade
Serena Williams has got Bey on the brain.
The tennis superstar shared a video of herself this week from behind-the-scenes at a photoshoot. In the clip — for which Williams, 37, had on a billowing black, off-the-shoulder gown — the athlete dances and sings along to Beyoncé’s classic 2011 hit “Love on Top.”
Williams, of course, made a surprise cameo in the 2016 music video for the track “Sorry” from Beyoncé’s Lemonade, showing off her twerking skills. In the video, the athlete frolicked through the halls of a Louisiana plantation home before dancing alongside the singer as she lounged in a throne-like chair.
She previously opened up to WSJ Magazine about her role in the visual album — including keeping the project a secret.
“I’ve known Bey for a long time,” Williams said, noting that she “got really sore from dancing” for the video.

The mom of one recently opened up to Business of Fashion about not letting people’s criticism and scrutiny phase her.
“It’s part of life, you know,” she told the magazine. “If someone’s not scrutinizing you or talking about you, then you’re not doing something right. If everyone’s praising you and everything’s perfect, then it’s not the real world.”
“People are going to scrutinize you no matter what. They’ll find something wrong with you even if you’re not doing anything wrong. And I don’t let that affect me anymore,” she finished.
