ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Ty Countryman with the Lakewood Police Department says the truck driver who caused fiery wreck on a Colorado highway that killed several people has been charged with multiple counts of vehicular homicide.
Police say the driver was injured but not seriously.
He's being held at the Jefferson County Jail.
Authorities say there's no initial evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved or that the driver intentionally caused the crash.
Multiple people were killed and many others injured in the fiery multi-vehicle crash west of Denver during the evening commute on Thursday.
