Fire breaks out in Kolkata building, 5 fire tenders at the spot

KOLKATA: A fire broke out in an office in a multi-storey building on Chowringhee Road on Friday.
The office is situated on the fourth floor of the G+5 building under the limits of Bhowanipore police station.

About five fire tenders and local police rushed to the spot to carry out rescue works. No casualties were reported in the incident, officials said.

Officials said the fire started at a fashion designing institute in the building. The building has multiple offices, institutes and residential households.
