FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corvias, a partner to the U.S. military responsible for construction and management of housing for active duty service members, is hiring for Maintenance Technicians to serve its on-base housing communities.

Corvias manages 6,150 homes at Fort Bragg and handles an average of more than 55,300 service requests per year. Technicians can expect to enhance their experience while supporting the needs of servicemembers and their families.
Maintenance technicians perform community maintenance activities under the daily operational supervision of the maintenance supervisor or the lead maintenance technician. This position is also responsible for carrying out general repairs and preventive maintenance to using basic trade skills such as electrical, plumbing, appliance, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in multi-family or housing maintenance
- HVAC: Type 2 or Universal EPA certification strongly preferred
- Proven competency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Knowledgeable in carpentry, lock repairs, and general maintenance
- Geothermal experience preferred
- Must be available for mandatory after-hours emergency repairs and/or on-call scheduled work rotations.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Positive attitude, highly organized and energetic
- Valid driver’s license required
