Congress didn't field Priyanka Gandhi against PM Modi out of fear: Baba Ramdev

Baba Ramdev on Friday said that the Congress did not field party's general secretary Priyanka Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to fear of ending her political career at the beginning.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Friday said that the Congress did not field party's general secretary Priyanka Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to fear of ending her political career at the beginning.

He also praised PM Narendra Modi and said that the Chowkidar wasn't a thief. "Chowkidaar chor nahi, balki pure hai," Ramdev said.

Further, Baba Ramdev supported BJP's election manifesto and said that Article 370 must go. Article 370 gives autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Narendra Modi on Friday submitted his application from Varanasi, the constituency he won in the 2014 general election. Varanasi will vote in the seventh phase of the seven-phase 2019 Lok Sabha election.
