HMD Global, the license holder to make and sell Nokia phones, seems to be gearing up for the launch of its new smartphones in India. To start with, the company has listed the Nokia 3.2 (first impressions) and Nokia 4.2 (first impressions) smartphones on its official website in the country, which means we may see their launch anytime soon. Both the handsets were introduced a couple of months ago at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, along with with the flagship Nokia 9 PureView (first impressions) and budget Nokia 1 Plus (first impressions) and Nokia 210 smartphones, which aren’t official in India yet.

Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2 specifications

To recall, both the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 are Android One devices and come pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie OS out of the box. The handsets feature a waterdrop-style notch display, a glass-sandwich design, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Nokia 4.2 is slightly premium of the two as it comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 439 chipset and a pair of 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras at the back. The front camera rocks an 8-megapixel shooter for selfie and video calling. The handset sports a 5.71-inch TFT display with HD+ resolution. The device comes powered by 3,300mAh battery, equipped with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB user-expandable storage (accepts up to 400GB cards),.

The Nokia 3.2 on the other hand, rocks a 6.29-inch HD+ display at 19:9 aspect ratio and a beefy 4,000mAh battery. The phone is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 SoC, paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable by up to 400GB with the use of a microSD card. For photography, the handset gets a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 5-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera at the front. 

There’s no word on Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 price in India, but globally they have been priced at a starting price of $139 (~Rs 10,000) and $169 (~Rs 12,000), respectively.
