Turmeric arrival & price increases

At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, the finger turmeric price rose by ₹600 a quintal while the root variety rose by ₹300 a quintal over the previous day. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, the finger turmeric price increased by ₹100 a quintal. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard due to arrival of fine variety of finger turmeric more than 200 bags were sold at ₹8,444 a quintal. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,559 to ₹8,444 a quintal.
