TCL Electronics has launched a slew of products categorised into smart TVs, audio accessory, and home appliances in the Indian market today. Starting with the TVs, they are called TCL C6 and TCL P8, which support 4K content along with 30W Onkyo speakers. The new TCL smart TVs are based on Android Oreo, which means that they are compatible with Google services such as Google Play Games, Google Play Movies & TV, and YouTube. The company has also partnered with major streaming platforms — ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Jio Cinema, and Voot among others — that is said to offer over 9,50,000 hours of premium digital content in 25 languages.
As for the prices, the TCL C6 is set at Rs 59,999 for the 55-inch variant, while the 65-inch variant will set you back to Rs 89,990. The TCL P8 comes in just one size 85-inch, which has been priced at Rs 1,99,990. As for the specifications, the TCL C6 and P8 are both equipped with a quad-core processor, dual-core GPU, 10-point white balance, and a micro-dimming technology. The TVs are also touted to deliver wide colour gamut and 16GB onboard storage. Apart from these, there is WiFi support, Google assistant integration, Chromecast, Spotify, and up to 2.5GB of RAM.
In addition to the new smart TVs, TCL also announced a tower and soundbar and wired and wireless headphones. As per the vendor, the accessories deliver clear immersive sound and an unparalleled audio experience. Lastly, the company also announced its 520L and 545L smart refrigerators, smart washing machines, and smart ACs.
