Chennai:
The terror attacks in Sri Lanka, in which more than 350 people died, had shook the entire world. The incident was also widely criticised by politicians of various parties and protests were also held to condemn it.
Vaiko said that the IS in their claim on bomb attack said that the terror attack was a response to the Mosque attack in New Zealand. “If minorities are continued to be attacked in India, terrorists will target the nation too and such a situation is prevailing here in the state,” he added.
He also said that the situation in the state is also volatile as caste and religious groups are creating tension. “In the land of social revolutionaries such as Periyar and Anna, communal hatred talks have increased. Youngsters are increasingly becoming victims of such hate speeches on social media,” noted Vaiko.
Vaiko, in a statement, said, “In the last five years, BJP guided by RSS Sangh Parivar, had been attacking minorities and so there are chances that terror groups such as ISIS might attack India.”
