Workers were evacuated from a factory after a "chemical incident" sparked a large-scale emergency response.
Fire crews were called to the Solvay factory on Wrexham Industrial Estate in the early hours of Friday morning after an "exothermic reaction" sparked an evacuation.
The fire service confirmed that an adverse reaction took place at the factory during a process of making resin.
A spokesman said: "Crews from Wrexham were called to an incident at Wrexham Industrial Estate in the early hours of this morning.
"The site was fully evacuated following a reaction in an industrial process and a specialist officer was deployed by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service to assist on site staff.

"The products involved have been contained and the incident is now in its closing stages."
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
A spokesman for Solvay, a Belgian-based chemicals company, said: "This morning at 3.15am Solvay was carrying out regular operations at its composites plant in Wrexham .
"During the production process the operators noticed that the resin they were handling was undergoing a chemical reaction.
"Solvay has strict HSE protocols in place.

"The operators contacted the Fire and Rescue Services who arrived promptly.
"Employees were promptly evacuated from the site. Nobody got injured."
The spokesman added: "Thanks to a well controlled process, the incident was contained and is now being investigated.

"There was no significant damage to the site and equipment.
"Manufacturing of that specific product has been halted and is expected to resume within 24 to 48 hours.
"No particular measure was taken by the fire and rescue services for the neighbourhood."

Witnesses at the scene said there was a strong smell of "burning rubber" in the vicinity of the factory following the incident.
The incident had been dealt with by 9.30am and the fire service left the scene shortly afterwards
