Official: Tax compliance makes good business sense

Coimbatore: Tax compliance, in the long run, will help businesses to succeed by building a positive public image and consumer trust, income tax commissioner (TDS) VS Kumar said here on Thursday.
Speaking at the second edition of ‘Compliance Conclave’ organised by the Economic Affairs & Taxation Panel of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Coimbatore Zone in the city, Kumar underlined the need for awareness on compliance of various laws and ensuring that the business community is not affected by non-compliance. “Having the right regulatory compliance practices benefits your employees, customers, and the reputation of your business. It makes good business sense,” he said.TNN
