Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 pics: Daenerys, Jon are not in Winterfell as they watch Night King’s army arrive

tv Updated: Apr 25, 2019 13:48 ISTHBO has shared new stills from the upcoming third episode of eighth and final season of popular TV show Game of Thrones. The photos show great tension among those stationed at Winterfell as they gear up to face the army of the dead. Multiple characters take refuge in the crypts of Winterfell, others are on ground and ready for war and some are watching it all from afar.
A picture shows Tyrion Lannister and Varys in conversation in the crypts. In the last episode, Tyrion had expressed his desire to join the war but Daenerys had told him to stay in the crypts as she would need him alive when the war is over. Also seen in the crypts is the Lady of Winterfell, Sansa Stark. She looks glum, sitting all by herself and maybe that is why she joins her sister Arya on the ramparts later.
Elsewhere, Brienne of Tarth is leading the charge to fight the wights and White Walkers. Standing right beside her, is Jaime Lannister, as he had promised.
What seems a little concerning is seeing Daenerys and Jon Snow looking at the battle from on top of a hill. Why are they not with the rest of them? Have they gone to the dragons? But why they have not called the dragons to themselves? They could have saved an hour walking to the spot. There are a lot of questions and they will all be answered when Game of Thrones returns this Monday at 6.30 am on Hotstar. It also airs on Star World and Star World HD every Tuesday at 10 PM.
