Cyclist, two pedestrians seriously injured in separate south-east Queensland crashes
A woman has suffered serious leg injuries after a car crashed into a Gold Coast home.
In separate crashes, a teenager hit by a tram and cyclist hit by a car were also seriously injured on Thursday.
The female cyclist, who paramedics believed to be aged in her 60s, was rushed to hospital after a collision between a car and two cyclists in Fairfield.
Emergency services were called to Brisbane Corso about 10.15am and took the woman to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with head injuries.
A man was also treated for a minor hand injury and taken to the PA Hospital in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, a car crashed into the home on The Locale in Nerang just after 11.30am and hit a woman, whom paramedics believed was aged in her 40s.
She was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with serious leg injuries after being hit while in the garage.
In the latest incident, a female teenager was hit by a tram on Nerang Street, Southport at 12.50pm.
She suffered abrasions to her face and legs and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
