WARSAW: Poland's biggest refiner PKN Orlen has sufficient inventories to continue production for the next several months after Poland stopped receiving Russian oil due to contamination, a spokeswoman said on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Poland's pipeline company Pern told Transneft it was suspending purchases, according to a letter seen by Reuters.

Key Russian oil buyer Germany has also suspended imports of Russian crude via a major pipeline.

Fellow Polish refiner Grupa Lotos was not immediately available for comment.
