A woman has suffered serious leg injuries after a car crashed into a Gold Coast home.

Emergency services were called to The Locale in Nerang just after 11.30am.

The woman, whom paramedics believed was aged in her 40s, was hit while in the garage.

She was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
