Neres Speaks

David Neres has refused to rule out a move to the Premier League.

The Ajax forward has been linked with both Liverpool and Everton after a breakthrough season in both the Eredivisie and Champions League.

Neres, 22, has scored 12 goals and created eight more in all competitions.

“I have to see what is best for me, for my career and my family,” he told Voetbal Primeur.

“We will see what the future holds, but I have a contract here and I am satisfied here.”

Rodriguez Update

James Rodriguez looks likely to head back to Real Madrid in the summer.

The Colombian was linked with a Premier League move in January and has spent the last two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich.

The German club have an option to make his move permanent - but all signs are pointed to him being allowed to return to the Bernabeu.

According to Marca via the Mirror, manager Niko Kovac is not fond of his style of play and is not keen on keeping him.

Would you take James at Anfield?

Jovic Latest

Highly-rated Luka Jovic may leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer according to sporting director Fredi Bobic.

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with the 21-year-old who has scored 17 Bundesliga goals this term.

“My desire is for him to remain at Eintracht,” Bobic said.

“But I am realistic - if a club like Madrid comes in for him, we do not have a chance of keeping him.”

Braveheart Robbo

Well done, Andy Robertson!

He’s the first Scot to be named in the PFA Team of the Year since 2010!

PFA Team of Year Confirmed

Four Liverpool stars make the PFA Team of the Year.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane all get the nod but there is no room for Mohamed Salah alongside six Manchester City stars.

Somehow Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has also made the cut.

Wow.

Do you agree with this?

Matip Runs

Joel Matip has explained those forward runs that have been a highlight of Liverpool’s season.

The defender isn’t scared to bring the ball out from the back and fans have been delighted with his recent form.

“I’m a defender but I really enjoy to have the ball in all situations,” Matip said.

“We have the ball quite often and I try to help my teammates and try to do something for the team to create something.

“I really enjoy it. I think it’s not bad if you enjoy the way you play.

“When I was young I tried to play from the back. I think that’s just the way I am, the way I play. Sometimes it helps and I hope that it will help our team.

“Maybe I should not do it every few minutes but I think [Klopp] trusts me. If I step in and the risk is not too high and I can help the team then it’s helpful.”

Manchester United vs Manchester City

It didn’t go as planned, did it?

Manchester City ran out victors at Manchester United last night thanks to goals from Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane as well as a helping hand - or foot - from David de Gea.

So how confident are you of Liverpool now landing their first Premier League title after Pep Guardiola’s champions returned to the top of the table?

Camacho Latest

RB Leipzig will test Liverpool’s resolve with a £10m bid for Liverpool teenager Rafael Camacho according to Football Insider.

18-year-old Camacho has reportedly rejected a new deal at Anfield and can leave on a free transfer at the end of next season.

The right-sided star has interest from native Portugal as well as Spain and France but Insider reckon Leipzig are ‘eager’ to land their man.

Camacho has made two first-team appearances this term.

Insigne Wanted

Jurgen Klopp has identified Lorenzo Insigne as his top summer target according to Corriere Dello Sport.

The Napoli playmaker scored the winner against Liverpool in the Champions League group stages and has nine goals and six assists in 25 Serie A appearances this term.

Insigne, 27, came through the ranks at the Italian outfit and is also a reported target for Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.

The 60-year-old worked with the star during his time at Napoli and Corriere believe Chelsea would be the preferred destination as Insigne looks to reunite with his former boss.
