A One Nation candidate has been filmed making derogatory comments about homosexuals and women.

Stuart Bonds, who is running for the New South Wales seat of Hunter in the federal election, was filmed making the comments by his Finnish tattoo artist wife, Sini, for her YouTube channel.

'The only thing worse than a gay person with power is a woman,' Mr Bonds says in the video, according to 9 News.

'I don't have a woman boss and I don't have a gay boss and there's a reason for that.'

The videos were uploaded to Sini's YouTube account, but were deleted shortly after the election was announced.

In another videos, Mr Bonds questions whether the Port Arthur shootings were a conspiracy, according to 9 News.

'Why was there no proper trial with a jury done? And why was there a 30 year embargo with the evidence?'

Similar comments were made by One Nation leader Pauline Hanson in a documentary by Al Jazeera released earlier this year.

In the same documentary, it was revealed that senior One Nation party members travelled to the United States to lobby the National Rifle Association for millions in funding.

When previously asked if he regrets making the comments, Mr Bonds said he didn't.

The 33-year-old has, however, told Daily Mail Australia the quotes are not reflective of his views and were taken out of context.

'The man who did our ceremony in Finland was a gay man. The best boss I ever had was a woman,' he said.

'The comments were taken out of context. It was a bit of a joke done a long time ago. It's not reflective of my views.'

'Was it in poor taste? Probably. If anyone is offended by the comments they have my permission to message and I will apologise.'

He denied being a misogynist or a homophobe when directly asked.

The heavily tattooed candidate describes himself as a 'proud' Australian farmer and coal miner.

One of his many inkings is of an anarchy tattoo etched across his chest, but he said he has no plan to overthrow government.

He hopes to bring greater investment into rural areas, pushing for more infrastructure projects like dams, roads and bridges to 'link the city to the bush'.

Mr Bonds, who has lived in the Hunter Valley for the past 15 years, met his Finnish tattoo artist wife Sini at a tattoo parlour in Thailand four years ago. They also have an 18-month-old daughter called Penny.

The couple's 2016 marriage aired on Channel 7's 'Australia's Cheapest Weddings.'

The couple revealed their ceremony cost just $300, while the reception was $400.

In Mr Bonds' segment on the show he can jokes that Sini must stay near the sink in their new house.

'I'm not allowed in here, you're not allowed over there, this is your sink,' he says as the couple inspect their house building site.

In a previous Facebook post, Mr Bonds shared family pictures of his wife and daughter.

'People ask ''why are you doing this, you'll never change anything?''' he wrote with the pictures.

In an blog post last year, Sini announced a plan to run for Finnish parliament - if she lived in Finland.

In a detailed campaign summary, Sini wrote Finland should be removed from EU and called for better salaries in the health care sector.

Sini also said the borders should be closed and recommended a trial period for refugees and immigrants.

'Finland belongs to Finns. We are a part of Europe but I don't believe that the EU has anything more to give that we couldn't get by without,' a section of the blog says.

'Close the borders for a couple years and get our own matters sorted out first.'

'Finland is at the point where we need to take a time out. No more asylum seekers. We have given a helping hand.'

Mr Bonds has described himself as a 'walking billboard' for the tattoo business and confirmed 'I'm not an anarchist', Newcastle Herald reported.

The One Nation politician also commented on his Twitter cover photo which reads 'RULE NUMBER 1: F*** WHAT THEY THINK'.

'I am a little bit of an in-your-face person,' he said.

'I'm not the sort of average person who would be running, which is exactly what we need. We need a bit of varying, a bit of difference of opinions down there.'

In one Facebook post, Mr Bonds reads his candidacy speech and speaks to Australia's immigration policy.

'We are being demographically replaced by people of the third world,' he said.

'We can shut those borders, we can stem the flow of people coming in.'

'I intend to go to Canberra and attack the heart of the dragon — the corrupt corporations and politicians that have sold this nation out,' he said.
