Brie Larson, Scarlett Johansson wore Infinity stones to Endgame premiere
The two Marvel stars picked customised versions of Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet to complement their red carpet outfits at the Avengers: Endgame premiere in LA
With all the hype surrounding Avengers: Endgame, it’s easy to forget that the plot revolves around one supervillain’s quest to find the perfect gems. When we last left Marvel’s heroes, they were powerless in the face of Thanos’s Infinity Gauntlet aka the galaxy’s most powerful bejewelled glove, which takes on an even bigger significance in the franchise’s epic conclusion. At last night’s Los Angeles premiere, the film’s stars refused to offer spoilers, but they had fun incorporating the symbol into their jewellery choices.
Both leading ladies Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson arrived at Los Angeles Convention Center in their own versions of the gauntlet, created to match their custom designer looks. Larson’s pale pink Celine slip dress was complemented by a golden Irene Neuwirth cuff and five jewelled rings with tourmaline, aquamarine, and emerald. A special order commissioned by stylist Samantha McMillian, the delicate combination of jewels took the concept into ethereal territory.

In her glittering Versace chainmail, Johansson needed something a little edgier. Stylist Molly Dickson commissioned a cuff one of a kind Sonia Boyajian cuff with chains connecting its multiple rings. The Thanos-worthy statement piece was the perfect final touch for a night dedicated to comic fantasy.
