ICICI Pru Life Q4 net profit down 23%

Private sector ICICI Prudential Life Insurance registered a 23.25 per cent drop in net profits for the fourth quarter of 2017-18 to ₹ 261.37 crore, against ₹340.58 crore a year ago. Net premium income rose by a robust 16.18 per cent to ₹10,056 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2019. The 13th-month persistency improved from 85.8 per cent in 2017-18 to 86.1 per cent in 2018-19.
