Bengalureans are not happy with the state of public transport in India’s Garden City. Though the mega-metropolis is home to over 12 million people, only 15% of the population report using its bus and train services with any degree of regularity. Dissuaded by costly ticket prices, safety concerns, badly-maintained and overly cramped buses, the majority of commuters seek more cost-effective and convenient alternatives.
