RRB JE Exam 2019 latest update: Rly board gives opportunity to modify choice of exam language
RRB Recruitment 2019 Notification Out Today: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has provided opportunity for change of choice of exam language to candidates who have applied successfully for the junior engineer (JE) exam 2019.

The RRB junior engineer (JE) exam is to be held in the month of April-May.
Candidates will be able to change or confirm their language by logging in the link provided on the official websites of RRBs. The change can be made from 10am on April 24 to 11.59pm on May 1, 2019. Any request for change of language will not be accepted after this deadline.
For those who do not make any change in their RRB JE exam 2019 language between the given period, the language chosen by them while filling the RRB JE exaform will considered final.
Moreover, in the same notification issued on Wednesday, the Railway recruitment board has also informed the students appearing in the RRB JE exam 201that they can also view the question paper of the exam both in English and the language they have opted for. It should be remembered that in case of any difference/discrepancy/dispute in the questions between English and opted language, the content of English version shall prevail.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited application for junior engineer (JE) recruitment earlier on January 2, 2019. The advertisement was released on December 29, 2019. A total of 14033 vacancies were announced in the advertisement but later it was reduced to 13,847 vacancies.
RRB JE recruitment 2019: Recruitment Process
The recruitment process of RRB JE will involve two stages of exam: 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd stage CBT, and document verification/ medical examination as applicable. Selection will be as per merit, on the basis of CBTs.
“The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The normalized score of 1st stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage exam as per their merit. Candidates who are shortlisted for 2nd stage CBT availing the reservation benefits of a community, PwBD and ExSM shall continue to be considered only against that community for all subsequent stages of recruitment process,” the notification reads.
