Leuva Patels launch app to help their youths get jobs, business

Rajkot: With the aim to give their community members priority in business and providing jobs, the Leuva Patel community in Gujarat has launched a mobile application last month for its community members. The Levua Patel Utkarsh group a committee supported by Khodaltham trust an apex religious body of the community had launched the business application last month which has two major features — business and job.
With this, the job seekers in the Leuva Patel community will get priority in business and industry run by community members. Aspirants have to post their resume on this app and choose from a list of skills. The business and industry people too have to put their requirement on this app and choose the skill set of the people they want. Both parties will get a message when the skill matches the requirement.
Again, all business and industry people can put up details of their products with pictures on the app and get responses from prospective buyers too. This app will provide B-2-B service, but is exclusive for Leuva Patel community members across Gujarat only.
Member of Utkarsh group, Rasik Sorathiya said, “There are many unemployed youngsters of our community in small towns and villages who will get a platform through this app. The business and industry people of our community will provide them suitable jobs. In the same way our community members will be benefited in buying and selling of materials from the B-2-B service.”

Sorathiya further said that the committee is supported by Khodaldham trust and this app is exclusively to help uplift of Leuva Patels across the country.
In less than one month, the app has registered 17,000 downloads together with promotion on social media. The committee is also planning to make a video of the app’s features and upload it on various social media sites to reach maximum people.
