Indiabulls Housing Q4 profit falls 7% to Rs 1,006 crore; firm announces Rs 10 dividend
Total income increased to Rs 4,209.81 crore against Rs 4,000.24 crore last year.
Indiabulls Housing Finance on Wednesday posted 7.03 per cent fall in consolidated profit at Rs 1,006.15 crore for quarter ended March 31. The NBFC had reported a profit of Rs 1,082.23 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The figure came in line with ET NOW poll estimate of Rs 995 crore.
Total income increased to Rs 4,209.81 crore against Rs 4,000.24 crore in the same period last year.
The board of the company declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share on the face value of Rs 2 per share for the financial year 2019-20.
The company has set May 8 as the record date for the purpose of determining the names of members eligible for receipt of the dividend.
Further, the board authorised the company to issue NCDs worth up to Rs 26,000 crore.
Share price of Indiabulls Housing Finance closed with a gain of 0.47 per cent at Rs 748.80 earlier in the day.
The board approved the shifting of the registered office of the company to its corporate and head office situated at Gurugram.
“The proposed shifting would enable the company management to monitor its business more economically, viably and efficiently and to streamline its various corporate functions at reduced cost with better administrative control, supervision and convenience which would facilitate enlarging its business operations,” Indiabulls Housing Finance said in a regulatory filing.
