Share market update: Realty shares mixed; Indiabulls Real Estate surges 7%
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.40 per cent up at 264.20 around 10:25 am.
NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's morning session.
Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 7.72 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 0.48 per cent), DLF (up 0.44 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.41 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.
Sobha (down 2.45 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.73 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.65 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.47 per cent) were trading lower.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.40 per cent up at 264.20 around 10:25 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 29.40 points at 11,605.35 while the BSE Sensex was up 91.44 points at 38,656.32.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, YES Bank, ONGC, Ashok Leyland, SBI, Tata Motors, Indian Oil Corp, SAIL and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
