Students witted sarcasm on leaders through Rangoli

Programme organized on the theme of ‘Choose Good-Truthful’

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, National Service Scheme has organized a Rangoli and Cartoon Making Competition on the subject- ‘Use of Money and Muscle Power in Election’ in association with Association Democratic Reforms (ADR) at Motilal Science College.

In this Rangoli competition, it was depicted that how the leaders and politicians, during election time, seduce and intimidate voters to cast voters in their favor. In the cartoon competition, the participants showed through their cartoon that how politicians misuse money power during the election and lot of millionaire and criminal MPs are sitting in our parliament.It is also depicted that the character of a criminal will remains criminal. It will not change by entering into politics.

According to the Lok Sabha set up 2014 34 percent of MPs have criminal cases which are registered on record, out of which 21 percent present MPs have serious criminal cases.82 percent of MPs are millionaire and in terms of women participation in politics there are only 12 percent of women are there as MPs.

In this Lok Sabha election, National Service Scheme volunteers are motivating all the voters for compulsory and moral voting for maximum voting in this Lok Sabha election and also advising to vote by keep the information about the person voters are giving their vote.
