Families encouraged to explore nature at Earth Fair\, starting this Sunday

Spring is here and the snow is gone so many in our community will celebrate what some would call the "season of sustainability".

The 11th annual earth fair starts this sunday.

Hands-on activities, local vendors and music are all a part of the free event.

From raptor demonstrations to an iron chef competition...or ganizers say the fair is a great place for kids and their families to explore nature.

"i think they're important to just kinda showcase the beauty of our area, get people more familiar with what organizations are around here and then, just to instill the love of nature and sustainability in children when they are young."
