Aldi Australia is set to launch a new collection of affordable kitchen appliances which is guaranteed to slash the cost of any home renovation project. 

Bargain hunters will be able to get their hands on a selection of deals including a stainless steel dishwasher for just $349 or an electric oven for $249.

The range, which is part of the supermarket's 'Special Buys', will be available in-store from Saturday April 27.

Those looking to purchase appliances for the kitchen will be thrilled with a range that includes a 23L flatbed inverted microwave oven for $149.

The offering by Aldi compares well with a similar product by Panasonic currently on sale at Harvey Norman for $269.

A stainless steel dishwasher, which features six wash programs and 14 place settings, is also on offer by the discount retailer.

This item, priced at $349, is affordable compared to a similar product on sale at The Good Guys, an Omega 12-place setting dishwasher, priced at $478.

Purchasing this item at Aldi means a potential saving of $129.

Aldi is also offering two types of range hoods for those looking to upgrade this kitchen appliance.

One is a 60cm stainless steel canopy rangehood and is on sale for $149, while the other is a 60cm slide-out rangehood, on offer for a mere $99.

Shopping at Aldi offers potential savings on both items. 

The Good Guys are offering a Viali stainless steel range hood for $299 while Winning Appliances is offering a DeLonghi product for $185.

Shoppers in the market for a new stove top can also find this item on sale as part of Aldi's Special Buys.

A 58cm gas cooktop, which comes complete with four Italian gas burners, is on offer for $199. The retailer is also offering a 59cm ceramic cooktop for $199.

A Viali gas cooktop (available from the Good Guys) which looks almost identical to the item offered by Aldi, is priced at $229.

Appliances Online are offering a Haier ceramic cooktop for $385. Shopping at Aldi means a potential saving of $186.

Aldi is also offering kitchen renovators a 73L stainless steel electric oven which features a triple glazed removable door and an easy-to-clean ceramic interior for $249.

A similar product on offer by Whirlpool is priced at $599. The Aldi version means a potential saving of $350.
