Amid media reports that major error has crept in the valuation in Intermediate Public Examination, the State government on Monday constituted a committee to study flaws in the functioning of the system used by city-based Globarena Technologies in the Intermediate Public Examinations. The committee headed by TS Technological Service Managing Director G.T.Venkateswar Rao as chairman and Nishanth Dongari of IIT-Hyderabad and A. Vassan of BITS- Hyderabad as members will study whether the agency has carried out its functions as mandated in the agreement.
will also look at whether the firm has enough manpower and checks and balances to detect systemic mistakes in time.
The three-member committee, which has to submit a report within three days, will study if there were any errors in the publication of results on account of errors of the agency in design, implementation. It will also verify whether the software is designed as per the specified requirements of the board.
Secretary (Higher Education) B Janardhan Reddy in an order said that the committee can take assistance from any employee/officer concerned with the publication of results and they must render their required assistance to the committee.
