Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd. (Chola MS), a Murugappa Group firm, reported an 8% growth in its gross written premium (GWP) to ₹4,428 crore during FY19. The profit before tax of ₹314 crore for the fiscal 2018-19 was supported by an investment income of ₹539 crore with an investment corpus of over ₹7,600 crore. Chola MS is targeting a GWP of ₹5,500 crore during the current fiscal. Recently, Chola MS bagged ISO 31000:2018 certification by TUV India.
