Chico police are yet again investigating an armed robbery.

It happened this evening at an apartment complex where the robber posed as a prospective renter.

At around 6:45 pm a man walked into an apartment complex office and asked to rent an apartment.

Police said right after, the man showed a handgun and demanded money before leaving.

Police said the suspect is a white man, around 20 to 40 years old.
