A 10-day food festival ‘Exotic Uttarakhand’ is being organized at Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon Baani Square which will serve dishes from the ‘land of Gods’, Uttarakhand. The food festival started on April 20 and has attracted not only the Uttarakhand natives residing in the city but also people from different cultural backgrounds. The food festival will end on April 30 and will have around 20 delectable traditional Garhwali and Kumaon dishes to satiate the taste buds of food enthusiasts. The dishes are being prepared by the Executive Chef of Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon - Manoj Rawat. Talking about the food festival, he said, “the idea to hold a Uttarakhand-based food festival clicked to me soon after attending a wedding feast at a remote village in Garhwal region. I thought of bringing this cuisine onto the plates of the world so that people know and explore more about this hospitable culture and food which is simple, flavourful, nutritious and full of love”.
