Following rain in its catchments, Sholayar Reservoir saw an improvement in water level. According to sources in the Public Works Department, the water level went up from four feet on April 16 to 8.66 feet on Sunday morning.
Water continued to flow into the Reservoir as the catchments experienced 25 mm rainfall in the 24 hours that ended 8 a.m. Monday.
Parambikulam, Aliyar and a few other reservoirs also saw improvement in water level.
