Avengers Endgame has been screened in Los Angeles and the embargo on reviews has been lifted. So, hold your breath as we bring you spoiler-free first reactions for what is perhaps the most awaited film of our times. If one thing that the audience members are unanimous about it is – Avengers Endgame is just the conclusion that we have been waiting for.

Avengers Endgame offers the “grand conclusion” to a 22-movie story for six of Marvel’s Avengers -- Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye and the Hulk. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame begins rolling out in theaters around the world on Wednesday, landing in India on Friday.

Fandango’s Erik Davis revealed that Avengers: Endgame and its cast received a ‘massive’ standing ovation. “Not going to spoil anything at all, but I will say I laughed, I cried, I cried, I cheered, I laughed, I cried again and then the entire audience gave it a massive standing ovation. And then I cried again. Be ready, kids. Be. Ready,” he tweeted.

“#AvengersEndgame is filled with so much comic book awesomeness that you may not be ready! Great blend of action, emotion and humor while keeping the stakes high throughout. Truly an achievement in blockbuster filmmaking,” wrote Collider’s Dennis Tzeng.

It honestly seemed impossible, but Marvel managed to wrap up over a decade of storylines in #AvengersEndgame without sacrificing any of the action, heart, humor, or insatiable fucking the fans have come to expect from this franchise. To everyone at Marvel - bravo. You nailed it.

Avengers: Endgame will close out Marvel’s Infinity Saga, which comprises of 22 films. It stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and others. Endgame is the longest Marvel film, coming in at over three hours long.
