Actor Shahid Kapoor, who has been busy shooting for his upcoming film Kabir Singh, took off for a European holiday with wife Mira Rajput recently. While the actor hasn’t shared many pictures, Mira has been giving us all updates from their vacation.

On Sunday, she shared a picture of hers and wrote: “Soak it in.” In the picture Mira can be seen standing by a spacious balcony of her hotel room with the sea stretching out beyond. From the latest picture we know that she is in Málaga, Spain. On Saturday, Mira had shared a picture of Shahid and herself with their friends from Puerto Banús, also in Spain.

Earlier this month on April 8, the makers of Kabir Singh shared the first teaser of the film. The one-minute teaser introduces Shahid’s character, who is seen boozing, snorting cocaine, and swearing. He is shown as an intense, headstrong and aggressive doctor who has some major anger management issues. The teaser also introduces Kiara Advani as Shahid’s love interest.

The actor has come up for praise for his intense portrayal. On April 21, the new poster of the film was also shared by Shahid. It showed a heavily bearded Shahid, spectacled with a stethoscope round his neck. It also announced the release of film on June 21 this year.

Kabir Singh is the official remake of Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy. The Telugu film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. Kabir Singh, directed by Sandeep Vanga who also directed Arjun Reddy, will see Kiara play the role essayed by Shalini in the original.

Shahid’s last film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu was a disappointment at the box office. He also starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, which released last year.
