CongressmanJohn Sarbanes and Senator BenCardin were on hand.

Sot: Theentire federal team is verysupportive of our commitmentto this earth.

Track: AnneArundel county is one of themost navigated areas of thebay by boat yet it has verylittle access to launch a boatfor the public.

CountyExecutive Steuart Pittman sayswater access is more than justboating.

Sot: water access isreally for fishing andswimming and kayaks inparticular.

Stand Up: All thespeakers mentioned the bestway to protect the bay is togo out there and enjoy thebay.

Fortunately for us theChesapeake Bay is one of theprettiest areas not only inthe state but, some say in theworld.

Sot: You could havepaid $5,000 for some adventurecruise and be just as happy asyou are right there on theChesapeake Bay.

Track: AnneSwanson is the ExecutiveDirector of the Chesapeake BayCommission.

Sot: It is a magicplace thats riddled whereland meets water, its riddledwith creeks and rivers andstreams. A lot of it isprotected from big winds andbig waves so, its quite anextraordinary place.

Track:Its the begining of thehiking, boating and swimmingseason.

Make plans to enjoywhat is in our back yard andmake a commitment to keep itclean.

Sot: We can do this.

Wecan restore this bay.

We justneed to think big, we need towork together, we need toshift it into high gear.
