CRPF constable donates blood to save woman’s life, gesture lauded on social media
In a wonderful gesture, a Central Reserve Police Force constable in Jammu and Kashmir went beyond the line of duty to save the life of a local woman recently. The woman was facing severe complications while delivering her baby and had lost a significant amount of blood. The woman’s relative then contacted CRPF Madadgaar, a distress helpline for the residents of Kashmir facing medical emergencies. In stepped constable Gohil Shailesh, who decided to donate his blood to save her. The CRPF’s official Twitter handle recently posted images, since gone viral, of Shailesh and mother-child duo.

Residents in a Detroit (United States) neighbourhood were left shocked after they recently spotted a huge python on the roof of a garage adjoining a home. Scores of people gathered at the spot the see the slithering serpent. One woman did a Facebook Live of the entire incident, and it quickly garnered a lot of attention online. Although police personnel rushed to the spot, it took a brave young man to safely bring down the snake from the roof. The snake, as it turned out, was a pet which escaped from its cage after its owner forgot to lock it.
